Professionally organizing since 2004, our goal is to help our clients love their environment.
Much of this we accomplish through the art of organizing, de-cluttering, downsizing, and honoring what remains. In doing so, we also help the planet by practicing the philosophy of reduce / reuse / recycle – often in creative ways unique to each client. We help people feel neat, not because their space is perfect (it's progress, not perfection), but because it is neat enough to function and feel good.
Fascinated by American culture, Ashley Stanfield, the owner of Creatively Neat, majored in U.S. Studies at Occidental College prior to obtaining a Masters degree in Human Development. As a means of expressing her passion, education and experience, Ashley opened Creatively Neat to help her clients through what can be a challenging process, while, at the same time, remaining sensitive to those clients' special needs and attachments.
Ashley is a member of the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD) which studies the psychology associated with extreme clutter and hoarding. She serves as Secretary on the Board of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) Los Angeles chapter. She is also a member of the West L.A. chapter of Holistic Chamber of Commerce (HCC).
How It Works
Phone consultation are always free. Call anytime to share your ideas, fears, ambitions, or dreams. If we're a good fit for you and your needs, you may choose to schedule an in person assessment.
An assessment is an opportunity for you to physically show us the space or project that you want help with.
We listen to your goals and then, together, determine the best approach and time line. An assessment may take anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour. It requires a $50 deposit. However, if you use Creatively Neat services, it gets fully refunded in the first session.
A session is anywhere from 3 to 8 hours, depending on your location and project needs. Each client and session is unique, though often what occurs is the following:
- Begin with one room, area or category
- Sort items, putting like with like
- Ensure everything has a home
- Label accordingly
Finally, we go through items you're not keeping and determine what's being sold, donated, recycled, tossed, or taken to e-waste. You can be involved at whatever capacity you choose. Some prefer us to take charge and get it all done, while others like to work alongside us the entire time. Any degree of involvement is great
Cancellations made in less than 48 hours result in a 50% charge for contracted services; cancellations made in less than 24 hours require 100% payment.
Creatively Neat respects your anonymity; you never have to worry about people finding out you use our services, unless you choose to.
